I had one at 16 weeks and the pain was nothing. I wasn't looking before I knew it they had stuck the needle in and pulled it out and I barely felt a thing. I had no pain/cramping afterwards either.
I must have missed the post about why you are having one done now but I hope everything is ok. Good luck!
