Had my baby boy!

I was scheduled for an amnio this morning (Monday) at 37w to check for lung maturity before induction on Tuesday due to cholestasis, but my little man had other plans. I went into labor Sunday at around 7am and Eric William was born at 10:52 am. 5 lbs. 9 oz., 19.5" long. I almost didn't get any pain relief -- the anesthesiologist was getting ready to put in the epidural when I said I felt like I needed to push. I got an intrathecal injection instead and my butt was fully numb by the time the baby was out. Both of us are doing well.

Congratulations! So tiny and precious! DS was in a hurry to be born on a Sunday morning at 36w6d as well, and 5lb 11oz. I can't even remember what he was like that small anymore. I am sure big sis will love holding that little guy.
