Hi all! My DH and I have just started the adoption process to add a 3rd child to our family.  We would like to adopt a girl age 9 or younger. We are going the foster to adopt route, so anyone who has been through this, I would love advice. I myself grew up in a foster home and was adopted when I was 14. Adoption is a cause dear to my heart and I am so excited to begin this journey! Looking forward to chatting with you all.

    No advice, but welcome and I would love to hear your story about being adopted at 14.  Let me know if I am getting to personal, but I am just curious - Are you still close to your AP?  What about your BP?  Love hearing stories about older kids that get adopted.
