Ace is no good as a fn imo. Ace can be a cute nn that's not related at all to the first name- think of little boys who are called Sport, Champ, Buster, Ace, etc. So you could still call him Ace, but give an actual first name that sounds a real person's name.

Neither first name is my style, but I really like Andrew.
I think Ashton Andrew sounds better than Ace Andrew.
