Does anyone own a silhouette machine? How about a Cricut?

I just ordered a Silhouette Cameo and I'm so excited but hoped there would be someone Poppy? who has it that I could turn to for advice. I'll check out the craft board on TN too...

    Yup.  I posted this same thing last week when I ordered it.  :)  Pretty excited.  I am going to make a bunch of birthday stuff (as long as I figure out how to use it.)

    I read that the software is a little challenging - so I googled some tutorials and it looks like it might take a little getting used to, but shouldn't be awful.

    What are you planning on making?!?

    I have amazon prime so I ordered mine today and it comes Wednesday. Unfortunately Rys party is Saturday so I doubt I'll figure it out in time... I'll probably do some personalized gifts for christmas. I've been looking all over for ideas though. And I'm going to hobby lobby tomorrow to get a few supplies if they have them. At home, we only have Michaels and AC Moore and I heard they dont sell Silhouette stuff. We'll see.

    My Hobby Lobby only has the vinyl in store.  I haven't seen any supplies at Joann's or Michael's (but I haven't really looked since ordering.)

    Hi! No....I dont have one..I don't even think they sell them here in Canada...was actually thinking of getting one when I go to the US in November for Black Friday shopping!! Right now I'm just using punches and free handing, lol. Make sure to post some pics when you figure it out!!
