Hello im pregnant with twin and i went to get a blood test last week well I got a phone call yesterday from my doctor saying one of my twin might have downs Im so scared I was looking on line that this test has came back normal with alot of people has this happened to anyone else
Re: Very scared
Call your office, and ask for the odds. Oftentimes, the tests come back with false positives; that is why we didn't get them done.
Sending T's&P's!
Also, some punctuation/capitalization would be nice in your post.
If they are fraternal then they are like any other brother or sister and only one could have DS. If they are identical, they would both have DS if one of them in fact does.
I think she means that you cannot differentiate between the babies based on a blood test on mom. With an NT scan, the separate measurements would give you a sense of likelihood for each twin - with bloodwork, you just have a general overall probability from mom's blood.
OP, definitely ask for probabilities and spend some time with your doctor getting an understanding of what's going on. Best of luck and prayers for you and your LOs.

I agree my niece has downs and she is amazing!!!!
Mine too
All of this.
I'm sorry that you're going through this and stressing about it, but without further testing, this really could just be a false high risk/positive.
You have got such a cute little sweetpea. I love that amber hair. (swoon)

Thank you!!
Do your best not to stress to much, false positives are common...like PP's have said.
I've worked one on one with special needs children. Children with downs are some of the most loving, patient, and amazing people out there who only see the good and amazing things in life.
Either way my thoughts and prayers are with you.
