Baby wearing guidelines

Hi all,
Apologies if this has recently been posted, I've been forced into the mobile format and I can see hardly any of the post titles. :
I suppose I'm mainly a lurker, and I've seen some ladies talk about certain carriers or positions that aren't good for the baby's hips or spine. Where are you getting that information? I'd really like to read up on it since I'm starting to wear DS in my Beco Gemini more.

Mostly a lurker here, but this site has some guidelines on how best to support baby's hip development. Hope it helps

Awesome resource; you should repost on the 0-3 months board for all of those who like crotch-dangling carriers and swaddling their babies' legs tighter than a sausage.

In general you want baby to be supported by the carrier to the knee with the knee slightly higher than the bum - a "sit squat" position. I have some links in my siggy link that might help as well.
