I have seen multiple people on 1st Tri suggest them. You can get them at Whole Foods, and on Amazon.
OMG, the directions say to take 6 a day. Either 2 pills 3 times per day, or 3 pills twice a day. They are huge (no a big deal), but they aren't coated, so when you put one in your mouth and add water to swallow, it tastes so nasty. Like grass - because they have "super green" nutrients added.
I think I'm going to mix up my prenatals. Take these some days, finish off my 1 a day prenatals another, and I have gummy prenatals for the days I'm really feeling sick.
Is anyone else rotating? They all seem to highlight slightly different nutrients.
Also - the only pills I have right now with DHA are some of the samples from my doctor (which I'm almost out of), and the gummy prenatals. Should I take a separate DHA supplement on the days I'm consuming prenatals without DHA?

I couldn't deal with swallowing that much (lol). I'm fine with my gummies.
Honestly, a good diet is more important than a prenatal. We're all past the critical folic acid stage since the neural tube is closed, so I wouldn't stress about which ones you take.

Hmm..I am curious- which Rainbow Light do you have? I just looked at mine and it says serving size is 1 tablet. I have the Rainbow Light Just Once pills. I just had a mini-panic moment bc I have been taking it 1x a day.
I am sure rotating is completely fine. I would take a DHA supplement on the days you are taking a prenatal without.
I saw the one a day RL pills and now wish I had bought those instead.
I purchased "Rainbow Light Complete Prenatal System".
The front says several things including "wholesome green foods". The pills are pretty green.
Okay, so I will order DHA from Amazon rather than go out again. I think that is most important in the 2nd and 3rd tris if I remember correctly.
