Benadryl question

I know that you're not supposed to take oral benadryl because it can decrease milk production. Do you suppose the topical spray has the same effect? I got eaten alive by mosquitoes last night and I'm so itchy I could die!

    I've taken 25 to 50mg of Benadryl by mouth multiple times with no affect on my supply, I wouldn't make it a long term habit though...You should be fine to relieve bug bite itchiness! I also think it's fine to use the topical kind if you're more comfortable with that.

    I would personally use hydrocortisone cream instead.  It works much better!
