Speaking of babysitting..

Did you babysit as a teen? Looking back does the amount of responsibility freak you out?

I was 10 when I started working as a mother's helper for breastfeeding guru of a mom. It was a great foundation for the years of childcare to follow!

When I was 12 I started babysitting on my own. The youngest kiddo was 3 months old.

At 14 I was doing overnights with a two year old and his 3 month old brother.

I never stopped childcare. After my first year of university I started working as a nanny by day and taking courses around my school schedule.

We are still a long way away from leaving our daughter.

    I was babysitting a 6 week old and his 2yr old sister at 13.  I think that is CRAZY!!! I guess she trusted me because I had been watching the girl since she was a yr old by myself?! 

    I don't think I could leave DD with someone under 16 or 17.  I need to find a babysitter.  We havent left DD since we moved away from family in June.
