Whoa... haven't been around these parts in awhile, but my vacation was amazing. So happy I didn't have to deliver the babe on the beach 8 hours away

1. 36 weeks. oh. my. gawd.
2. My last appt was last Friday (Aug 10th... I had to skip a week b/c of vacay. Oops) and I had my GBS test and was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced at 34w5d. Pretty typical for me. I was actually expecting to be 3 or 4 by now, lol!
3. GREEN. Can't wait.
GTKY: My induction is scheduled for September 10th (39 weeks). I can NOT believe that I will be holding my baby in 3 weeks. SQUEEEEEEE.

1. 35 weeks and freaking out! Five weeks to go? Seriously?
2. Haven't started checks yet, so I don't know what's happening down there. I'm still feeling good - the OB said were just waiting on baby as long as things keep going well. GBS test next week, and then checks will start at 36 weeks.
3. Pink....and so excited that we can decide between our two names once she is here. And for my shower in two weeks!
Gtky: I've felt all along she will come early. I don't know why, but I still feel strongly that she will. Which means she will probably come late, just to show me! I go back to work in a week (yay one week summer vacay) and will be glad to be doing something productive and not sitting on the couch eating all day!

1. 38 weeks!
2. I lost 4.5 weeks last week due to sickness. GBS+. Overall fine appointment on Friday. My Dr. and I are both excited about me getting so close.

GTKY: I'm honestly feeling like labor is going to start anytime now, though I know it could still be days or weeks. Lots of prodromal labor funtimes, especially increasing crampy contractions. I'm hoping to wait until at least next Thursday for DS-watching convenience, but otherwise we're ready whenever she is!

Hoping to make it 8 more days to our rcs but have been feeling "off" the past 2 days, so not sure if that is anything. I have never gone into labor and wouldn't mind not doing it this very last time either.
I can't believe we will all have our precious babies in our arms SO soon!
I'm feeling the same way lady! There were at least 2 times on vacay that I thought I might be in labor the contractions got so bad. I just laid down, drank water and took Tylenol and it helped. I really hope I make it to my induction (and I absolutely think I will).... I just wish all these contractions would STOP! Ha!

I've decided to refuse cervical check until week 40. My doctor says they are not strictly necessary, and are very uncomfortable and not without risk.

I feel tired all the time. He is dropping already, so I think I will be early.
1. 37 weeks! Whew! We made it... we won't have a premie.
2. Had my 36 week appt last Tuesday. Baby Joy is confirmed to be head-down after hanging out transverse or breech for most of the pregnancy!
My MW doesn't do internal checks unless you specifically ask for it.

GTKY: I'm almost ashamed to mention it, but I feel good: tired but not too much else. I feel good enough that it seems likely for me to go late (you have to reach a certain level of misery before labor starts, right??) but I would love to be a week early to get DH some extra time off with Labor Day.
PS. Mrs.Jenni, I am so amazed that you managed to pull off being Team Green even with all your extra appointments. I can't wait to see which hat your baby wears home.
My first post in the Sunday Ticker Change thread! Typically Sundays are crazy, so I rarely make it on TB, but, I'm letting H sleep in this morning, seeing as I kept him awake for hours with my tossing and turning last night.
1.) 35/35! It's really sinking in that next month we'll have our baby, provided she's timely...
2.) I was checked at my 34w appt., because I had a ton of pelvic pressure, and was having a lot of BH. 1cm dilated, and just starting to thin out, but baby was head down, and very low in my pelvis. I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it's nice to know what's going on down there.
3.) Pink! So excited to be having a girl as our first!
I've had a feeling she will be early, but I'm preparing myself for her to be late anyway!

GTKY: I feel pretty good overall. Baby keeps trying to stick his knee out of my belly button, but other than that I am still relatively comfortable. I doubt that I will deliver early. I think he will be born the week of my EDD. The plan is to go natural with no pain meds. Last time I was induced, so the main thing is that I really want to go into labor on my own.

Yeah I wish they'd let up or turn into something, you know? Yesterday nothing I did stopped the contractions, but they weren't easily timeable (because I wouldn't notice the beginning with some of the lighter ones) and weren't regular. I actually sent DH to the store for groceries at 10pm last night just in case it turned into the real deal overnight. This is all so different from my breech/water breaking labor, so I just don't know what to think. I'm definitely nesting too, which is at least giving me (and poor DH) something to do.

Terri - I just wanted to say that name is adorable and that I can't believe we have 38 weekers!
1. 36 weeks!
2. Appointments are going fine... however, they're monitoring me for maybe developing pre e. My blood pressure has been great, for the most part, but I have had KILLER headaches (something I never get) and spots. Next appointment is Thursday which I assume will be my GBS and I'll ask to see if I'm dialated!
3. Blue! I went through all the rest of the baby stuff and I am going to start washing today. So excited
4. I think early. When I tell people my due date it sounds funny to me. I always wanna say Sept 4! So we shall see!

1. How far along are you today? 37 weeks! Holy cow - I made it and won't have a preemie.
2. Any appt updates? Are you dilated yet? Weekly appts now. At the last one we had no movement. Baby was still sitting pretty, nice and high. No dilation.

GTKY: How are you feeling? Do you think you'll go early or late? Do you have a planned birth? I feel pretty good most days. The lack of sleep is catching up to me and I am worried I won't finish everything at work because I can't keep my eyes open. I am pretty sure this baby is going to be late.

1. How far along are you today? Full term today! 37 weeks, so excited to have made it!
2. Any appt updates? Are you dilated yet? I have an appt on Tuesday, but last Saturday night had false labour and was sent to the hospital. My BH contractions last for nearly five hours coming fairly regularly, so much so, in the beginning one of the MW thought they were real contractions. I did have an internal at that time and I wasn't dilated. Otherwise my MW doesn't do them unless you are past 40 weeks.

GTKY: How are you feeling? Do you think you'll go early or late? Do you have a planned birth? Aside from feeling like a whale, I feel great. A bit tired, but good overall. I do think I'll go early, within week 39. All of my mom's babies were early and on their due date (middle child). Our goal is to bring our little man home, but my preference is a natural birth in the midwife-led suites at our hospital.

not a lot here. i feel the BH more and more every day. but as far as i can tell, everything normal. i'm really excited to be so close to the finish line now.

for the most part i feel good, but this heat is killing me. i feel really tired and weak sometimes throughout the day, with small spurts of energy.
for some reason, this entire pregnancy i have had a feeling that she would make an early entrance - by a week or two. but now that i'm down to 2 weeks for my EDD, i'm not so sure! whenever she is ready, i am happily waiting!
2. Any appt updates? Are you dilated yet? Weekly appt tomorrow. Had a NST and biophysical ultrasound Wed. and LO is just ducky in there. No dilation as of last Monday. I did lose my plug two weeks ago now!

GTKY: How are you feeling? Do you think you'll go early or late? Do you have a planned birth? Not feeling well at all. Really "off." I had DS early due to pre-e, so I have no clue if this means labor could be close. I am scheduled for a rcs on the 29th, and I am thinking I will make it until then.
I am jealous of both of you sexy mommas I wouldn't be caught dead in a bathing suit.

2. I went to LD Thursday night because of decreased movement all day. Of course as soon as I got there he was moving all over the place. I got to see him on ultrasound and he's head down and looks perfect. I was checked and was only softening no dilating yet. I have an apt. Tomorrow.

4. Since I'm not dilated I'm guessing I have a ways to go. And because I'd love to be early I'll probably be late!

Lots of nesting going on here now too! I might pack my hospital bag and get the car seat and other baby things ready soon just in case! I have done NOTHING so far. Oops. Time to go shopping so this kid at least has a onesie to wear.

2. I have an appointment on Wednesday and the oh so fun strep test;) I may have Dr. check to see if there's any progress since I'll be 36 weeks and he'll already be in that area....lol.
3. Still Team Green!! Getting anxious to know if I have a son or daughter growing in me.
My 'goal' is to stay pregnant through August...not that I have any control over that. I feel like I'll go early (my EDD is Sept. 19th). I just want baby to stay in until September:)
Also not a sunday ticker change but I was curious about your ultrasounds. I'd heard that since the babies tend to be extra squished in the final weeks that it's a lot harder to see the little baby bits! Or is it just the techs not saying "he/she?"
Sometimes, I'm hilarious.

2. Any appt updates? Are you dilated yet? I will find out at tomorrow's appt - I am very anxious to have my first internal b/c I've been having a lot of cramping & BHs. I also want to know if she is still transverse b/c I think she may have finally moved!

Friday I had contractions every time I sat down, but if I stood up they went away (so I stood until my legs couldn't take it anymore). Originally, I felt not ready at all, so I assumed I'd go early...now that everything seems to have fallen into place I'm sure I'll be late

GTKY: I feel pretty good! Some days I get so exhausted and sometimes sciatic and groin pain kick in in a way that feels like he is sitting on a nerve or something-just really strong pains. I think I'll go early but we'll see. He felt so super low last weekend, seemed to move up during the week, and then I felt those low feelings a little more yesterday. My first DS was 2 weeks early out of the blue so it makes me feel like this guy will be too but I guess you never really know... It's so hard to not feel like it will just go like it did before with everything happening so fast-fingers crossed!
It's the general use of pronouns and the techs can still clearly see what we're having. It's written on my chart and highlighted that we don't want to know, but I remind them every week (even if I have the same tech over and over again) just in case! I'm 3 weeks from my induction and I'd rather be super annoying then have someone slip!
Actually, my tech last week said she accidentally told someone at 37 weeks and was devastated. I told her I'm sure that's a mistake you only make once and she agreed. She said she felt terrible but that she was much more upset than the mom was about it.

GTKY: How are you feeling? Do you think you'll go early or late? Do you have a planned birth? All of a sudden I feel like I got hit by a bus. I had been feeling fine until today. I've already taken two naps and I just feel ridiculously off. We went to Target and I was feeling crazy. Forgot my shopping list, hit a curb, just definitely not like myself. I think I will go early because I have a dr who is worried about my swelling and the fact that the baby could be very large so induction seems to be on the agenda... just don't know details yet. I will find out more tomorrow.
2. Any appt updates? Are you dilated yet? Our LO is estimated at 5 pounds now! A HUGE improvement over where she was on the growth chart! I have not had any internals yet, but I do get to do (another) GBS test Tuesday. Joy.

GTKY: How are you feeling? Do you think you'll go early or late? Do you have a planned birth? I am feeling swollen and fat. I know I'll go early, because if I don't have her by 39 weeks, at the latest, they'll induce due to chronic issues with insanely high BP and Pre-E.
2. Any appt updates? I have an appointment on Tuesday. Are you dilated yet? I haven't had any checks yet, so I don't know. They'll start checking at 36 weeks, unless something makes them want to check this week.

GTKY: How are you feeling? Do you think you'll go early or late? Do you have a planned birth? Feeling OK so far, now that I am getting over the week long sinus infection I've been dealing with. I have been feeling the BH contractions a lot stronger in the past week, but I think I will go late, *just* because the most 'ideal' time logistically (for my mom's and DH's work schedules) would be if baby arrived at week 39. And I'm not lucky like that, LOL. But seriously, I am just hoping he arrives on his own when he's ready and we don't have anything that comes up that requires an early induction. Our plan is to pretty much go with the flow, I'd like to try for a med-free birth, but I am open to changing that depending on how things go when the time comes.
