Stick out tongue if i have a late in the month due date, i'm lying about it and joining the next months pregnancy board.

this way i can have one of the adorable FIRST board babies.

ladies still holding on, do you get the feeling that you'll be the last and that you'll post your birth story and pics and there will be......................................crickets?

I totally feel the same! To watch my "mid month" baby turn into a late month baby and see all these cute little faces in the cutest little outfits really makes me crazy to finally hold this little one who is holding on like it's her job! Next time, maybe two boards just to keep it exciting!

Great minds think alike... I've totally already considered that! DS was a week late so I'm not even getting my hopes up that this LO is on his way. I'm sure there will be a good number of September moms who have their babies before us.

BTW - didn't realize we were due-date-buddies. Two more days and then I feel like I can officially start being a B.

I'm not super competitive but I am super impatient and I HATE that my due date is at the end of the month. I wish it was a September 1st or 2nd deal (though I totally love everyone on this board and wouldn't want to leave you all).

Insult to injury I have a very irregular cycle so my EDD was originally predicted as August 7th! Which would have been awesome because I would have been beginning to mid.

Totally expecting crickets on the birth announcement, unless it has come full circle and new mommies are already starting to get back online. We will see.

Not to worry. I will always be here getting excited about new babies. Even while I'm in labor probably.

But after DH gets home there may be radio silence from me for a few weeks. We've got a lot of lost time to make up for.

Me too haha! The sept ladies are about to start dropping like flies though, between BP issues and scheduled sections/inductions. I am due towards the end of the month so I get to watch everyone else have their babies while I am huge and pregnant =P

I didn't mind before when people were posting about BH and anatomy scans but it is a little sucktastic that half the board seems to have jumped ship. Hopefully they will come back! I feel like there should be a prize for the last baby born on the board.

I'm in the same boat! I'm pretty sure LO will be a September baby considering I'm not due until the 28th and I've had zero signs of upcoming labor. I might have had a contraction this morning but it also could have been gas

That's what I get for asking her to hang tight until after the 21st so I can make it to the first day of class!

I agree.... I know when she's finally here it seems like no one will notice. One week from today is my scheduled induction... Probably be cricket city... Thinking of just posting to 3rd tri board so someone will notice us and celebrate with us!!!

I actually did this. lol When I had my first us this time my edd was coming up as July 31, Aug 1 or 2 and I insisted on Aug first as my edd specifically because I did not want to be at the end of the month. Well, she ended up being born on July 31 instead of the edd I picked. lol

Also, I will fawn and coo over your lo. I'm totally stalking you because I can't wait to see your l&d post. lol

I know how you feel, and not just on this board. My friends dog decided to deliver 2 weeks early and beat me, so did 1 of my aunts pigs and the other one (my pig) has started showing signs that she is going to deliver today. I feel like I should have lied to myself so I wouldn't be so disappointed right now.

I'm due August 26th and having 0 signs of labor. I was super active all weekend and at least was expecting some stronger Braxton Hicks. NOTHING! This should be a very annoying week at work with everyone asking how come the baby isn't here yet. Guess he's not ready yet. I'm anticipating an early September baby for sure.
