Bc I'm bored with work: name ideas

Morning ladies,

Another weekend working and I'm bored. Anyone want to play with name ideas with me? Married Last name is Smith....so common, it kills me. Miss my maiden name. Well I will, haven't changed it yet and our year anniversary is approaching. Whatcha got??!

    I like the sound of longer first and middle names with short last names:

    Alexandra Elizabeth Smith

    Olivia Margaret Smith

    or for a boy:

    Michael Christopher Smith

    Garrett Alexander Smith

    Or any combination of names like those.  :)

     

    Ours is a long, hyphenated last name, so unfortunately nothing sounds great with it.  I actually rather envy your nice, short Smith!  :)

    I was thinking of hyphenating my last name, but not the kids. Professionally I just can't let my maiden name go :

    I like Emerson elizabeth smith. Elizabeth is my sisters MN. H hates Emerson. I also like Collins for a girl, H does too, my cousin hates it.

    Boy names we only picked Liam abd no MN this far.

    My husband was a Smith, but took his mom's maiden name when his parents got divorced, but our last name still begins with S.  Here are some ideas we were thinking: 

    Amelia Marie

    Eve Marie

    Nicholas

    Jacob

    We are having trouble with boy middle names.  Also, be careful with initials.  My maiden name began with S, and I was almost Amanda Sue - not great initials!

    DH's boss has a daughter named Emerson, and they call her Emmy.  She is adorable!

    Love it. I may of overlooked the initials thing, thanks. If we do Collins, it may be CES, which is a union but I can't help but associate that with it.

    I was just thinking Emmit, but then I remembered Emmit Smith (ex-pro-football player) You may not wanna do that, but it is a cute name.

    I also love the name Ava for a little girl.

    Liam is super cute for a boy. I asked my hubby about Liam, but he is not sold on the idea. You could also do Grayson! Love it!
