I am in maternity clothes completely now, but some clothes just make me look pudgy, not pregnant. I can't wait until I look obviously pregnant instead of questionably so.
I feel the same way! I switched to maternity pants b/c my regular ones were just too uncomfortable. I could still button them but sitting down was painful. I don't need maternity tops yet, I'm still wearing my old ones but I feel like I look like I'm about 5 months pregnant already! I had DS #1 in Sept. of 2011 so I was only not pregnant for about 9 months. Could I really be showing so soon? I feel like my family thinks I'm just eatting my way through this pregnancy but I've only gained 1 lb so far. Anyone else showing super early?
Couldn't agree more. Worse: the maternity clothes I have now are from the end of my pg with DS after I had gained 50 lbs [:] , so they look extra frumpy!

I'm staying out of mine as long as I can because all of mine are from the end of my last pregnancy. I tried on a pair of pants yesterday and promptly put them back because they won't stay up!
Anyone else feel like their belly is a bit flabby? When does that taught preggo belly come in??
This. I fell like I am just blubber and fat. I don't think I look pregnant and my clothes still fit but they all look HORRIBLE on me. I basically look like I have a diet of beer and Taco Bell.

I had DS in Sept. 2011, too. I'm in your boat, sista. I am not wearing maternity clothes yet though because I'm sooo tired of them. I want some new ones! I just told my husband last night that I just look fat and not pregnant and he didn't even disagree. :-(
me too! i teach and have told a few of my coworkers (i'm a teacher), so i'm sure it's currently the worst kept secret, "is megan pregnant or just getting fat!?". my principal thinks it's funny that i haven't told and reminds me i won't be able to hide it forever!

My summer ones are too and it is frustrating me. I had a meltdown over it last week and went to Ross and picked out a few new shirts for $7 each. I couldn't find any pants but at least my shirts looked decent and not like gigantic tents.

This times 100. It isn't a taut sexy bump, it is a ball of lard I have here. I like to kid myself and say its my intestines being pushed out of the way. Just feels like fat to me, when I'm being honest..ugh!
Me too. I look fat. Although I'm a FTM, I think I popped between Thursday night and Friday. I'm petite (5 ft) and incredibly short-waisted so there's no where to go but out. I bought a maternity dress and a tunic (which is so cute that I can't wait to wear, but will hold out until September probably). A friend has lent me a casual dress and a pair of pants (that fit but are way too long - I think I need petite, so will return those to her) and I'm getting a skirt from the same friend. I need a pair of jeans though and will probably go shopping later today!
