Update: For those who care to know :)

My husband has been working since April for a property managment company that also flips houses - he's a carpenter. It is steady, 40 hours a week, four 10 hour days. I am so so thankful that he's working and off of unemployment. For anyone who thinks people actually like being on unemployment need to get their head checked, that sh*t is stressful and I would choose a working husband vs. a stay at home husband anyday. Thankfully we are all caught up and can work on paying off some random medical bills and old accounts.

We are a one-car fam by choice now. I use the car on Friday if the kids need to go to the doctor or dentist or I need to run errands. Three of my crew are starting school in less than two weeks. I have one going into 6th grade, one going into 3rd, and my girlie starts Kindergarten this year. I'll be home with three toddlers, holy crap. I hope I stay sane!

I am getting my Bachelor's in Accounting right now but it is all online so I do it at my own pace. It's an accelerated program so I can graduate sooner and get to work when the twins are pre-school aged.

So, things are good. We are just trying to stay afloat. Life is crazy but good.

Mom to six awesome kids - Levi is 12, Landen is 8, Gabrielle is 6, Lucas is 3, and Oliver and Samuel are 2 years old. Love my crew. Baby Birthday Ticker TickerBaby Birthday Ticker Ticker

  • Good for you! And thank you for standing up for us on unemployment! I had a rude comment on a post I had a few days ago (because I'm on unemployment, since March and got a call for a government job that would be great for me, but I was kinda bummed at the same time because I thought my dream of staying home with my little ones for the first year would end before it even started) regardless of my dreams, I know that's not realistic and we're scrapping to get buy. Especially with two LOs on the way. Glad things are going well for you! :)

  • That is such good news and I know that has to be a good feeling.  I can totally relate to the stress of unemployment and the exhilaration when it's over and a paycheck is coming in!  It's so exciting to be able to breath a little easier knowing now you can pay some things off.  Way to go momma on working towards the accounting degree with three LO's at home with you all day!
