I received my Menopur injectables from Europe today...

I ordered them to be delivered by express mail, only took five days.  So I'll be going to the doctor's office soon to learn how to use them etc.  But in the meantime, for those who have had to do injectables do you start them on cycle day one?  And do you do the shots everyday until the end of your cycle or only until you ovulate?  I'll also be using Pregnyl but I think that it will be used as the trigger shot.  Just trying to plan ahead in my mind since we will be away from home when CD1 starts.

    Usually I start on CD3, but I've also started on CD4 before when that was the earliest I could get in for baseline u/s and bw.  You'll do the shots every day until you trigger.  

    Just to give you an idea, last cycle I stimmed 9 days (CD4-12) with monitoring appts on CD8, 11 & 13, triggered CD13, IUIs on CD14&15.

    Me: 38, PCOS/ DH: 37

    DD born 12.21.09, conceived w/ injects and IUI



    TTC#2 since Nov 2011

    BFP 2.6.12 m/c 6w5d | BFP 5.25.12 c/p

    -Back to the RE-

    3 medicated IUIs, all BFN

    -Taking a break from treatment-

    BFP 11.20.12 ~ EDD 7.28.13

    I've usually had to do baseline bloodwork and ultrasound cd 2/3 and then started meds on cd3 but also as late as cd5 in one cycle.
