Do you let your kid play with

hot wheels and other cars if they are under 3?

    Supervised, yes.  I wouldn't buy them for him or send him to play alone with them, but if they are around I don't freak about it.

    Yes...we have some that were given to us, but only when I watch him.

    Yes; he only has a few that MIL got him. He's not that into them right now anyway, but he plays with them on occasion.
    DS (7 years old) from FET in 2010
    DD (5 years old) from IUI in 2012
    TTC 3rd and final!: IUI #1 in progress!

    Yes. They are one of Child's favorite actually. :) I don't let her play with them in her crib or alone, but out in the main areas where I watch, all the time. It's my best time occupier.

    Chloe has 1 and LOVES it!  Santa will be bringing her more for her stocking! (Santa plans ahead in my family).

    She doesn't play anywhere that I'm not around so it is in her general toy area for her to use whenever she wants.

    Yes. My DS is obsessed with Hot Wheels and we have a ton of them. DD plays with them too, mainly because if DS has something she has to have it too. LOL.

    Little man plays with them when he is with cousins that have them. We don't have any, but I don't care if he plays with them. I'm sure he will get some from grandma for his birthday.

    Yep. Having 2 older brothers, there are a ton of hot wheels in the house and they are some of DS's favorite toys. He pretty much has a hot wheel in each hand all day.

    Definitely when I'm around, but I would never let him bring one into his crib at night.  Sometimes I let him bring a toy with him to bed, but it has to be something he can't possibly choke on.  He likes to fall asleep with something in his hand.

    We have a bucket that my 3 yr old plays with, and my 1 yr old only uses them with direct supervision.  The wheels and tiny bits make me nervous, but it is fine with supervision.
