So I've had pretty consistent cramping the entire pregnancy, but I started getting it more frequently on Thursday. Then Friday morning I woke up with lower back pain. None of the pain (cramps or back pain) is severe its more nagging and it comes and goes throughout the day--worse in the morning and evening.
I did call the doctor on Friday and she said that as long as the pain is not severe and I don't have bleeding it shouldn't be anything to worry about.
But I am a little worried because today I've had continuous cramping and back pain and my legs are slightly achy.
Am I being overly worry wart-ish? Anyone else having these symptoms? My doctor said it could be a sign of the uterus growing.
Re: Craps and lower back pain--is this normal?
I have had cramping almost all fourteen weeks so far. I would say that while I don't have the pain all day every day, I have it at some point every day. And mine is worse in morning and evening as well. Just recently I have also started having back pain and leg pains.
My doctor said the same thing ... that as long as there is no bleeding, not to worry.
I guess it's just growing and stretching!
Mild cramps can be normal, but if you are worried, you should call and ask your OB. Sometimes drinking more water can help. Also, check your title - although it amused me.
Ha ha ha I had no idea what you ladies were talking about until I went back and checked the title. I just laughed about that for like 3 minutes straight.
Yes mine feel like mild period cramps too. I do feel much better that I'm not the only one experiencing this. I imagine it must be normal, but I guess I'm a little sensitive to every twing of pain or crap/cramp : )
