I plan on having the twins sleep in our room for the first couple of months. A regular size crib will not fit. I was thinking about a mini crib and have them sleep together and then I saw the twin pack and play. Anyone use this? Some of the reviews are kind of iffy. I still have my daughter's pack and play so not sure if I should just put them both in there? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Re: Twin pack and play?
Some people liked the Graco (online) but most had negative reviews. I haven't (obviously) had my twins yet and haven't seen the twin P&P in person, but my plan is to get two bassinets. Bassinets are pretty inexpensive at BRU (usually $89-$99) so I figured for 3 months it's worth it. Again this is all IMO but I'd hate to invest in a twin p&p and then have the twins hate it....
Not sure what other MOM's recommend....
This. Twin PnP (we have Graco) sucks. Totally slants towards the center. We put DD in it our first night home and she kept nearly rolling over. The next day we purchased 2 bassinets. We've never used the PnP again in two years. Not once. DS was still in the NICU when DD came home, so we never used it with both babies. I would likely have hated it even more. Plus it's huge and took up too much space in our big bedroom.
We didn't buy it in the first place. My mom bought it for us. It was a big waste of her money.
We sold the 2 bassinets on our neighborhood message board when the babies were older and nearly broke even.
