GTKY hypothetical: Would you hire an attractive nanny?

Or, to put it another way, would you NOT hire a nanny/sitter solely because she was very attractive? Assume she's great with kids, qualified, etc.

And nope, I would never hire a hot nanny. I've told my husband I'd only hire an ugly old bald lady with a peg leg and eye patch and no sex drive.

Hm to answer the question, I think I'd hire an attractive nanny. I don't think it would bother me. I guess if ended up bothering me, I could fire her later. lol

haha, no but it's next up after I catch up on Teen Mom and Real Housewives of NY! My maternity leave has been reality TV overload.

To answer the question I posed, I would not hire an attractive nanny. I totally trust DH, and though I think he's the cat's pajamas, I don't think some young hot chick would want to jump his bones. Still, best not to introduce anything potentially dangerous into my house.

I would if she met all my qualifications. If DH was the cheating type, he would find a way to cheat, whether with the nanny or someone else. As far as I know, he's not the cheating type, so I really don't worry about stuff like this.

OK, I will be the only one petty and small enough to admit it-- Hell no! Sure, I trust DH, but why put temptation right under his nose and that close to so many beds and couches??? I am a big fan of the path of least resistance-- make things as easy as possible. Why am I going to stress myself out by having hotties hanging around the nest?

I guess if I had no qualified, unattractive options I would do it. But IRL I hired a 50 year old lady who is not very attractive, score!

agree for the most part ....... Except that most of the cheating I've seen IRL is NOT with hot, young women. It's with pretty average women who make the man feel good about himself. So, don't forget to make quality time for DH...it's not all about the sex.

Well, I don't think I'd hire a nanny period, but if I did...if a young, attractive woman was the most qualified person and got on well with my son, then I'd do it. I trust my H completely. DH's father cheated on his mom and DH has made his very low opinion of cheaters well known.

Sure, I would hire her if she was qualified. I absolutely know my husband would not cheat on me. I too know that he isn't blind. Maybe her being around would give me more incentive to workout more or actually get dressed up nicely. Haha probably not though.

This was a FFFC for me a while back. Theres no way in hell a cute little thing is playing with my baby, in my house, with my husband sleeping in the other room (he works nights)

Im not clingy, but Im very jealous. He can flirt with the checker at the store all he wants, but a female spending time with him when hes cozy at home? Sorry. No way.

Ive got major demons with that kind of stuff and have seen really innocent relationships get messy.

edit: I posted before reading responses. I do agree men who cheat, cheat. Nanny or no nanny. I trust my husband alot, but he has a heartbeat. Intimacy can grow from out of no where. Its not sex Im worried about.

I interviewed a nanny that looked really hot in her picture.. But wasn't that great looking IRL.. I ended up not hiring her for other reasons.. I did however hire a girl that is young, skinny and cute because she's great with the kids.

Come to find out, she's a total sci-fi/comic book/fantasy nerd. My husbands ideal girl. Hah. But he's going to try to set her up with one of his friends

I'm comfortable enough in my marriage to not worry about "the hot nanny" .. plus DH is rarely ever here when she is.. now, if he starts "working from home" a lot.. we might have to talk
