I couldn't help but notice that we are all in NC!

Lauren, I live in Burlington, but go to Raleigh for my RE. Just curious if we are going to the same RE, Carolina Conceptions? Would love to hear your thoughts on them if so. Or why you might be at another office.

Ash, where are you in NC? (if you want to share)

I wouldn't turn down the idea of a playdate with someone who gets what I am going through. Especially, since my mommy group has 3 recently PG women and I am about to start boycotting events if they turn all PG talk.

Hi, I go to Carolina Conceptions. I LOVE them. When I walk in they know exactly who I am and what I am there for. They love when I bring DD which I only do if I have to (trying to be sensitive to others)

I do not have a single friend in NC that has a child even close to DD's age. Most are single or their kids are 10-12. I am up for a playdate.

I have LOVED them so far too! They are like a well greased machine, I have never been in and out of a dr office so fast! I am going to PM you my email address and lets chat about a playdate! Looks like our kids are 5 months apart, Owen is 18m. We could do a park playdate. I think they would have fun (we might have more fun!)

Well, I can't help but say I wish you were closer! We go through Asheville once a year on our way to Tenn to visit DH's sis and family. The mountains are really beautiful and I love how every little town is so different!

Do you blog? You should as you are very inspirational and insightful! If you have a blog I would love to add it to my reader!

That sounds great! One of her buddies at daycare is 5 months older. I think a park playdate would be great. We can meet halfway.

Sorry for the delayed response. Thebump was being weird yesterday and making it post in a new post instead of here.

I go to wendover OB/GYN, Dr. Lav delivered our twins and then Owen via c/s. I know many woman don't like her but she has been amazing taking care of us. But now I am going to an RE in Raleigh.

No, I am not part of A.Mommies' are you? (is it a FB group? or somewhere else) I did join a mommy group on Meetup.com; from there we kinda created our own smaller FB group when our group got to 80+ mommies.

I know Davis st actually my DH is working on a house on that street yesterday and today!! I am about 10 minutes from there. We live near Haw River or Copeland mills; we are out in the county.

It's a small world. AlamanceMommies is actually a website. I was on it but there was a lot of drama so I don't go on it anymore. I go to Green Valley which is upstairs from Wendover I think. I run a website for area moms called Coolmommas (www.coolmommas.freeforums.org) but we don't have many members so there isn't much going on there. What's the FB group you're on if you don't mind me asking? That's cool that your DH working down the street. We are looking to move out towards Western. My sister lives out your way. I love the country and want to go bacl. We should definitely get together. How old is your LO?
