Happy Birthday DMfan!!!!
My FFFC is that I have an irrational urge to be a total biitch to
some of DH's family for their ignorant ass comments. This isn't a
"pregnant" thing, it's just because I'm so tired of reading their
bigoted remarks and all their ridiculous conspiracy theories.
I've held my tongue because it's just not worth it to get into it. You
really can't argue with these people, they are THAT stupid. But, it's
getting harder with each day.
I'm dying to know which ones they believe. I love me some good conspiracy theories!
Lol....
Well, there is the Colorado shooting one. Which, whatever...I know
there are some questionable holes in the stories, but it was
like....less than 24 hours after the shootings and they were blowing up
FB with their theories. Show some respect, you know?!
Then,
my Cousin-in-law posted some article the other day about the National
Weather Service buying high powered ammo and that the government was
getting the NWS in on the crusade against Americans or something. I
read the article and at the very bottom in dark bold print was a
retraction... the NWS accidentally received an order of ammo instead of
another government agency that had a similar acronym. I am a storm
spotter for the NWS in my free time, they aren't shooting anything
except radio chips at clouds. Smh... But, it's like he didn't even
read the article. He read the headline, posted it with some ridiculous
BS babbling, and tried to stir up a bunch of fear mongering. That's
just a couple of the fun things they do.
OH, and the day of the
Support Chick Fil A movement...they were there, and took pictures of
some cops that were directing traffic. They posted it saying that cops
were denying people entrance into the parking lot and that they were
there to step on the "little people's rights." SO many of their
friends commented saying that no...they were there to direct traffic.
Effing idiots. lol...
I really want to reply but the bump keeps eating my posts! Trying again..I totally believe in aliens and I think the Government is covering it up big time. My Grandfather worked in the military for a long time and he swears up and down that he saw the documents and pictures from Area 51. He is not one to tell tale tales either. His son though is BSC ..thinks the Government is going to turn against us and that they do things like 9/11 and mass shootings and controlled releases of epidemics to keep us in line. Yup..family gatherings are definitely more fun when he is there lol..

That's awesome! Love the police at CFA, especially! LOL
My BIL is always going off about something. He's in the army and has been to the Middle East three times, so he has lots of theories about US affairs. His FB page is nothing but political 'news' and statements. It's pretty entertaining.
ETA: I totally believe in the illuminati and I think freemasons are still out there trying to control the world. Maybe that's more of a FFFC though.
This may not be all that exciting, but my MIL is convinced that there was never a moon landing. Her reasons are: 1.) how could we have possibly gotten all of the information we ever needed about the moon in one trip, and 2.) it seems suspicious that we never went back.
I've tried explaining to her that we HAVE in fact, been back to the moon since 1969, and thus have collected more data and information since the first trip. But it's like she can't hear me. I've heard this conspiracy a number of times, and some people do have convincing arguments, but hers are... not so much. She's just so stuck on this.

Mine is not very exciting but I totally believe that the oil and gas companies ?own? most of our government and have prevented us from advancing technologies in alternative fuel sources to keep them rich.
PS I also believe in aliens and they scare the crap out of me!!!

My grandma belived this as well. She would talk about it constantly whenever something space related came up. I also had a science teacher in university also tell us that he believed we never went to the moon- I had a hard time listening and believing whatever else he said in class!
I don't believe in the moon. I think it's just the back side of the sun. *shrug* lol...That would be one of my favorite lines from "Scrubs".
As for the vaccine tracking device...there was actually a Mythbusters episode on this not too long ago. It was busted. They're not trying to track you when you give blood or get vaccinated. hahaha...

I see a ton of government corruption in my line of work, and I'm in a pretty mild line of work.
I liked the poster whose inlaws refused the TDAP because they think the government is injecting tracking devices. Yowsa!
Hilarious!
