Two weeks in a row! I have a few
1. I HATE when mothers bring their runny nosed sick kids to a play group. Daycare is one thing, parents have to work, but voluntarily exposing your sick kids to babies is inconsiderate. That HORRIBLE LLL group I went to the other day had a sick one year old. He had snots running down his nose the entire time. Of course his hands and mouth were on everything. Now Lucas is sick. He can't breathe through his nose, woke up 6 times last night and has tons of boogies. We had plans Saturday for out of town friends to come with my Godson (4 months old) and were were going to cook a ton of freezer meals and crock pot meals to freeze for when we return to work in September. Now I have to cancel something we've planned for over 2 months. I'm beyond annoyed. No I cant keep my kid in a bubble but I wouldn't bring my sick kid to a play group around other babies.
2. I wiped poop on my mouth yesterday. Yup, I have no shame. I almost puked. No, it wasn't my poop, it was my sons, and I had no idea it was on my hand. It was during a diaper change and my nose got a terrible itch....one swipe and a piece caught my lips. I was so grossed out that I ran my mouth under burning hot water and now have a little blister on my lip. Well worth sanitizing my mouth.....oh and I used soap too, inside my mouth.
3. I think all adults should wear deodorant. At above mentioned LLL group a large woman stunk and clearly was not wearing any.
Re: FFFC
Oh boy...first, I agree with number one- my only point (and this obviously wasn't true in your case) is DD has been snotty due to teething. I know for a fact she is not sick, but every time I drop her off at the gym daycare I always explain to them that she is slightly congested from teething- I feel guilty and don't want them to think I'm dropping off a sick kid!
2. Thank you for making me laugh so hard I almost peed myself...when you were explaining the poop in the mouth, I got a great visual! I could totally see that happening to me too! (I do feel for you though, ugh)
My FFFC, another reason I am CDing is because when I first brought it up to my family, they all laughed at me and said they couldn't picture me doing that...bast*erds, I'll show them
also, we leave for our trip on Wednesday and I have not started any packing or laundry...I'm totally procrastinating.

I would be interested in reading an in-depth report of Hlc's LLL meeting the other day. The bits and pieces that I've picked up in various posts make me curious to know if there's more!!
I never got a baby book for A. I knew I wouldn't be good about keeping it up. I got a calendar instead. I figured it wouldn't take to much to fill it in daily or weekly. Um...I haven't updated since April. Every time I think about updating, I get overwhelmed at all the backtracking, so I don't do it. I've promised myself that I'll get it done this weekend.
LOL!!! Guilty here too...

Hahaha, I never used to fart in front of my husband unles it was an EMERGENCY lol. That went out the door when I was pregnant and turned into the gassiest woman in the world. I can't believe how much hair my DS has, by the time he turns 1 he's going to be in desperate need of a cut!
I have read the ENTIRE Fifty Shades trilogy, and I skimmed the steamy parts because I have zilch libido and it bored me.
I also read the "memoir" by Farrah from Teen Mom. It was so ungodly awful that it made 50 Shade seem like great literature.
I am so ashamed of my latest reading habits!
Haha I totally do this. Except now I think my dog is believing it too. The other night we were watching tv and I farted this really loud, squeaky fart. The dog turns around to her butt and cocked her head, like 'did that come from me?!' Dh sorta laughed and scolded her and I didn't explain why I was dying of laughter. I also didn't tell him it was me!
What's funny is I almost always forget what I want to say for FFFC come Friday and then remember on Saturday so I keep missing participating. This morning I remembered my one for this week and was all ready to post it and then I read hlc's first post...
I am 99% sure I forgot to put deodorant on Tuesday morning!
This is one of the main reasons I didn't want an epidural for either delivery; everyone in my family was convinced I would be begging for the epidural before I even made it to the hospital. They figured because I sometimes faint when I see blood or get shots I wouldn't be able to handle labor and delivery. I explained this to my nurse when in labor with DS and every time I had a bad contraction she would say "Think about your sisters" and it got me through labor and delivery med-free. FWIW, if I needed an epidural I would have had no issue getting it, it's just my spite was able to carry me through.
My FFFC?
I can't stay away from the bump for more than a few weeks. Hiiiiiii ladies! Missed you guys!

what does fffc actually stand for
-i hate that i am such a coffee drinker now. i hate the way it tastes & makes my teeth feel
That makes me feel better!
This might sound horrible, but one of the (many) reasons we took LO out of the first daycare we had her in was because of the alternate provider, the sister of the lady who owned the daycare. The sister was very large and she may have showered and she may have put on deodorant, but both my husband and I - at different times - could still smell her, if you know what I mean.
People that think the rules don't apply to them are the worst. At DS's daycare, shoes aren't allowed in the infant area. You either have to remove them or slip on blue disposable shoe covers (provided by the entrance). There is one family (both the husband and wife) that don't remove their shoes or use covers. I've seen them do it on multiple occasions. It annoys the crap out of me because if not everyone does it, then what's the point? I don't say anything because I don't like confrontation, and I guess the staff hasn't either, which is somewhat annoying. DH, on the other hand, thrives on debates. On Monday, while he was putting on his shoe covers, the husband walked out of the infant area and DH said, "looks like you forgot to put on your shoe covers!!"
My DH thrives on debates too. When men don't wash their hands after they use the bathroom at his job, he says, "Hey, you missed the sink!" And if they give him the attention, he'll rant about how they've now touched the door knob and he can't touch it because of them and how they will probably touch the items in the cafeteria contaminating them and making the food unsafe for people to eat.
I sometimes read these FFFC but rarely post, but one thing has been annoying me lately...
I have a big baby. He's happy and healthy, just 96th percentile kind of big. I'm a small woman. When people see me holding Dev, frequently I get comments... like "Whoa! How old is he?" and when I tell them, the next question is "What are you feeding him?" etc. It used to roll off and I'd laugh, but it's gotten really old. Especially the way some people say it. I started just saying "Boob. I feed him boob." but yesterday, I told a stranger that I feed him snickers.
I have a few today.
-We got a new to us car last weekend. It's a Mercedes ML350. The ONLY reason we got it was because we were looking at Honda Pilots and because FIL works at a dealership, we worked out a crazy good deal and got it for $4k less than the Pilot... same year, same-ish mileage, everything... except his dealership doesn't sell Hondas. I LOVE it, even despite the snide remarks I've gotten from CWs. It drives wonderfully and is so smooth and quiet.
-I'd have a yard person before a cleaning person. I don't have time to pull weeds and keep our grass looking good. I can at least clean at night after DS goes to bed and DH helps a TON with cleaning.
-I'm tired. I was flying solo for 3 days last weekend while DH went to pick up the car. I'm alone at night M-Th and am alone again today thru Sunday. I desperately want a break but there's no one to watch DS. So... here I am.
You are the one that wants to move to Hawaii right ( I could be mixed up)? I swear this is 100x worse here! It's not some people that walk slow, it's pretty much everyone.

Last week MIL blamed FIL for a fart... it was totally me. I never confessed.
I have 2.
I let DD lick some of my milkshake off the straw last night. There was hardly anything there but I may have let her do it more than once.
Secondly, I am totally loving 98 degrees on the Today Show. Also, I am singing along. What can I say, the words are just coming back to me... a decade later.
Ugh, people can be so rude and insensitive sometimes. If it wasn't frowned upon to lash out in public, I'd be saying "go f*#k yourself" about ten times a day. For what it's worth, I LOVE big babies...the chubbier the better! They are the cutest! I was a very big baby, like so chubby that I still get teased about it from all my relatives.

AMEN!!!! I think laws need to be changed such that bikers can also be at fault in an accident especially with how some of them ride. Sorry, but if you get hit in the middle of the road from a car going over a blind hill, it shouldn't be on the driver of the car as "at fault".. I also think that since vehicles are required to be insured in a no-fault insurance state, that bicyclists should be required to carry insurance if they're riding on the roadway.
My FFFC: I made homemade chocolate chip cookies - and I shared pieces with DS.. It was adorable watching him eat something with flavor...
I love this!!!! And I want to do it but I'm not brave enough. My big baby is 98th percentile everything, and strangers like to argue with me about his age, his weight, and what I feed him... as if I don't know all that and they do, somehow.
My FFFC: I am the opposite of a germophobe. My husband freaks out at the things I let DS put into his mouth (not choking hazard stuff, just stuff that isn't clean.) If he wasn't such a healthy baby I probably wouldn't be this relaxed, and I don't want him around people who are obviously sick, but if a toy falls on the ground and doesn't have obvious dirt on it (or dog hair, in our house) I give it back to him.
