Losing my grip on the housework

Since LO is mobile now, I find it hard to clean the house. I used to be able to park him in the jumper/swing/bouncer, but not anymore.

He also has developed a fear of anything that makes noise, so I can't really cook, either.

Too bad, DH! Looks like my Martha days are over!

    I can only cook and clean when DH is home. I am unable to put him down alone without complete melt downs. No sure what that's all about. My Martha days have been gone since December!!!!

    Ha! Thanks for posting this...it reminded me I needed to sweep up the dog hair while DS is down for a nap. I tried to do it while he was awake yesterday and he chased the broom!

    I also only get to clean while DH keeps DS busy. So it's always the big house cleaning on the weekend for me. Booh.

    Ugh.  I'm in the same boat and it drives me crazy.  I figure this is just the way it's going to be for a few years.  Then, I'll teach LO that cleaning is FUN and I'll convince him to do it with me.  ;)

    Lol... I am going to try this too... For some reason I don't think our houses will end up very clean!

    When E naps I have time to do the following: shower, clean, laundry, cook dinner, or bump/send email to family back home...cleaning is always last on my list.

    Most of the time during the week I just half a** clean as fast as I can while DS naps....just because I hate cleaning on the weekends.

    Ditto this. I break my cleaning into chunks and do it during DD's morning nap. Dinner gets done while she's playing in her high chair or exersaucer. When I was holding her for all her naps, nothing - NOTHING - got done and I was slightly unhinged.

    i can't get much done b/c she no longer likes the jumper & the pack n play we have is huge & not easily transportable. 

    i started buying groupon maid services when they come on & will just use a new one each time. hahaha
