Recommend your rear-facing Mirror

OK, so thus far the only mirror that has worked for my car is a very little Eddie Bower one.  The reason why it works is b/c my center seat does not have a headrest to attach something to.  The little eddie bower one has a clip.  I can see Spencer in the mirror, but I can't even tell if his eyes are open; this does not rest well with me. So, let me know if you have a mirror that works well in a spot that doesn't have a headrest to attach it to.  TIA!!

Re: Recommend your rear-facing Mirror

  • We have the Eddie Bower one too and I agree that it is hard to see exactly what Riley is doing but at least I can get a good idea what's going on. I wish I had a rec. for you. I'm interested to see what has worked well for others.

  • i have a middle head rest and have the Baby in Sight one, but even in the middle it was still always hard for me to see her unless i scootched up high in my seat. now with the convertible carseat i really can barely see her!
  • I used to use a Safety 1st mirror. I want to say it had different ways of attaching to your car. I wasn't able to keep Mikey in the middle for long in my car because his snugride would tip so he's been behind the passenger seat for a LONG time. I can hardly remember what it was like to use the mirror when he was in the middle. When he was on the side it was easier to see him.
  • I have the Fisher Price Monkey mirror (sorry I don't know what it's called!) Seems like the consensus is that they're all hard to see our little ones with, it's the same with mine too!
  • I have the fisher price rainfirest mirror and it's not so helpful either....
  • i have a round one from babies r us - not sure of the brand, but i like that it lights up.  i think it is for a headrest only though.

  • We used the Baby In Sight Mega Mirror.  We had a headrest, though.  not sure if it works without it.
