My IVF Journey
One of my favorite bands in college was The Dance Hall Crashers and my favorite album of theirs was titled Purr hence PurrCrasher. I outgrew the name a LONG time ago but when I signed up for the knot ages ago it was the first thing I thought of. I honestly regret it now but I don''t want to change it now that I have a "home" here on the bump. I wish it just said, "Rachel". I'd prefer that. haha

There was an episode of King of Queens where Doug and Carrie were getting something done on their house. One of the contractors called Carrie "Mrs. Doug" and I always thought it was so cute. My DH's name is Greg... Mrs.Greg.
Not to be Debby Downer, but I went through a rough relationship (abusive) in college. As soon as I could see it myself, I ended it and ever since I became obsessed with the idea of second chances for myself and the 'rebirth' of me back to who I used to be. From Easter lilies to butterflies (symbols of rebirth) and just the importance of the word itself in my life going forward.
My nickname is Shelley (short for Michelle), and my friend started calling me Shelley Bean - like Jelly Bean. It just stuck.

My username is so lame but they wouldn't let me change it! Over 5 years ago I joined the Knot as we began wedding preparations.... I am a teacher so I thought it was cute that I would no longer be called Miss but Mrs. But now that I am on the bump the name really makes no sense, oh well!
I had a different name about 5 yrs ago when I joined The Knot for wedding planning and idiotically used my actual email address (which contained part of my real name) as my username. During my pregnancy with DD1 I occasionally posted on the month boards and soon realized there were lots of bat guano crazy people out there that would try and start stuff about you if they got your info and I stopped coming on here for awhile because of all of the drama.
When I found out I was pregnant for the third time I thought I would give TB another try and wanted to find something that would be a little more inconspicuous but described me. Back in the day my BFF lived next door to me and some mutual friends called us Lucy and Ethel of the neighborhood because we were always together, up to something, and we were neighbors. True to life. I picked 3 because this was what I thought my 3rd child (HA HA HA HA HAAAA). My life seems to be one long episode of that show, lots of craziness, love, insanity, and laughter.
BTW, levi, it's great to see you posting again. I hope that means things are going great for you!!
Not only do I live in Wisconsin, but I'm a huge fan of the University of WI Badger football team and the Green Bay Packers, so LuvWIfootball.

Re: Haven't seen this in a while so How did you come up with your bump name?

Long story short...
rinascita = Italian for rebirth
