Did I seriously pee myself??

This morning I got out of bed and noticed that my underwear, shorts and the bed were a little wet. Not soaked, but enough that it got on the bed and down one leg of my shorts. I called the answering service, and the on call dr said she'd like to see me, but since it was 7 am, there'd be nobody at the office and I should come see her at the hospital. Of course I lost it. How upsetting to go to labor and delivery at 22 weeks! 

To make a long story short, my fresh pair of underwear was only slightly damp after the hour long trip to the hospital. They found no amniotic fluid, my cervix was closed, the babies looked good, etc. She concluded that I may have leaked a little urine. Really??DH of course found this hilarious. 

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think there's any shame in a pregnant lady peein her pants a little, and if I really thought that that's what happened I'd be happy to own up to it. But, I've never come anywhere close to leaking even a little bit of pee in my entire life. And it didn't smell like pee. Also I didn't drink much last night and got up to go my usual 1x in a night.

Anybody have something similar? Maybe it was just major vaginal discharge? Or maybe I'm just incontinent now lol. In a few years I'm sure it will be hilarious that DH and I rushed to the hospital in a panic bc I peed myself, but I'm not ready to laugh just yet. It was really scary!

    My vote goes to vaginal discharge.  I've got all kinds of unusual going on down south.  Wouldn't put it past my body to throw some random leaky discharge at me.  Glad you and the babies are OK.  I was in labor and delivery at 24 weeks when I fell down the stairs.  Definitely scary to be in a place you're not expecting to see for a long time!

    My sister had this happen early on in her pregnancy...i think at about 25 weeks...now she was just having a singleton but it sounds like a similar experience...they ran some tests and said she wasn't leaking any fluid and that she probably just peed herself but she knew she didnt because she was awake at the time and had no urge to pee. Long story short after she had my nephew they found something on the placenta that indicated she had a leak early on...anyways I can't remember all the details but just to ease your mind she went on to have a healthy pregnancy and it never happened again!

    lol, glad you and babies are ok... but ummmm, i pee myself several times a week!!!! my baby A is in just the perfect spot where if he moves in the slightest he is smashing my bladder and i have no time to get to the potty.. and if my dh makes me laugh too hard, well lets just say new undies are in order!!

    i say no worries, all part of being pg!!

    I had a follow-up with the MFM this morning and she showed me how one of the girls' heads is pressed up against my bladder. I guess I have to just get used to the fact that I'm a pants-peer now! Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone!
