I'm thinking of calling my RE to ask about my nasal spray that I use for my hayfever allergy-- it contains steroids. I looked it up in the drug guides and there are no adverse effects in a number of studies on pregnant women, but there are no studies on women TTC.
Anyone else have the same situation and been told helpful info by their docs?

I'm on Nasonex and Claritan. I had never really thought about drugs that could have an affect on TTC.
The only thing that ever works without knocking me out cold is the Flonase (Fluticasone) spray, so thanks, Abeille, for sharing! My worry is that the corticosteroids might mess with the adrenal glands and cause issues with the ovaries. Like with women who naturally have adrenal gland issues that affect their blood sugar and therefore their ovaries...
I may still double-check with my RE, though. I don't want to mess with the conception issue, but I'm not going to last much longer without my Flonase-- I'm already getting the congestion, puffy/itchy eyes, fatigue, inability to sleep through the night, etc, and I'm pretty sure none of those are helpful in trying to relax so my body can get pregnant. It's about which is least helpful to the TTC cause, at this point, I think: possible side effects of the drug or the allergy symptoms!
