Book Recommendation : )

Forgive me if this is a totally well-known book, I found it by googling "books for foster adoption".  It's called Another Place at the Table by Kathy Harrison and I read the whole thing in one day it was so good!  The author is a long-time foster mom and it details her experiences with a few of the kids that she has fostered and/or adopted. 

It's kind of a tough read emotionally, it deals with sexual abuse pretty extensively but I think I learned so much and ultimately I found it uplifting and inspiring.  It also gave a really informative look into the social services system.  I hope this helps if there's anyone else that's looking for reading material regarding foster care and adoption from foster care.  Smile

    Home November 24 2012!

    Back to RE Summer 2013. TTC journey continues: 

    Dx DOR, endometriosis, low sperm count 
    Clomid + IUI#1, #2 = BFN / IUI #3 = ???

    Laparoscopy scheduled December 2013
