pajama question

i have my DD wear the same pj's 2 nights in a row before washing them. i also have her wear the same sleep sack sometimes up to 4 times. is this gross? should i be changing the pj's/sleepsack more often?

Re: pajama question

  • I do the same thing. Obviously if he is really sweaty or his diaper leaks I wash it.

PJs are changed daily because she eats her breakfast in them and that's never tidy!

  • We change her pj's daily. However I have done 2 nights in a row when I do not want to do laundry. I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

  • I wear my PJs multiple days in a row, and so does she. If she hasn't peed, pooped, or gotten something on them in a few days then I grab a new pair, but usually something gets on them before that.

  • Up until a month or so ago, we changed PJs daily.  But now that she hardly ever spits up and we figured out a better nighttime diaper routine, we only change PJs every other night (unless we have a stray leak or whatever).  When she was wearing a sleepsack, I only changed it every 5-7 days, given no leaks or spit up.

So, we're right there with ya.

  • My LO is always really sweaty during the night so I put new ones on him every night. He doesn't use sleep sacks so I can't speak to that. If he wasn't so sweaty I would probably do two nights though, I do that for myself.

This exactly. DS's pajamas get changed every few days because by the time he eats breakfast he is usually dressed or in just a diaper.

  • DS doesn't have "pajamas".  He spends most days in a onesie so that's what he sleeps in at night as long as it's still clean.  If not, then I put him in a clean one for bedtime.

  • I usually change his pajamas everyday because DH gets him dressed in the morning and he always throws them in the hamper with the dirty cloths. He has two sleep sacks and I usually wash them both once a week so I just rotate them out unless he has an accident.

This is what we do. It's too hot for PJs and he's outgrown all the ones we had anyway. He just sleeps with a onsie. The blanket he sleeps with gets washed once a week with his sheets.

This is us too. DS has worn onsies to bed since it started getting hot here, which was about May!

I don't think it's gross at all.nbsp; We change pjs every 23 days as well.nbsp; It drives MIL crazy though.nbsp; One day she asked me if we had enough pajamas because she saidnbsp;it seemed like I put DD in the same pair every day.nbsp; In actuality she hasnbsp;4 or 5 pairs...and I alternate equally between them.

This is my grandma. When dh is gone for work or military, we often go up and spend a few nights with them. My grandma bought LO pj's bc she says I never pack enough. She gets irritated when I leave the same ones on him each night. I don't see the big deal. We go 2 and sometimes 3 nights in one pair as long as they aren't dirty.

  • glad i'm not the only one. we keep our a/c on 24/7 b/c it gets way to hot in our apt so that's why she still uses a sleepsack b/c it gets chilly at night in her room
