First of all... Congratulations! I was lurking today because I was in dire need of adorable baby pictures which you certainly provided me with.

I only just began my 2nd trimester but I have a question for you all. I am so darn uncomfortable, sick, and can't breath. My Mom told me that she was also the same way with her pregnancies for the entire 9 months but the day she gave birth, all the horrible symptoms instantly went away.

Please tell me this happens and she's not just lying to make me feel better!!

My experience is a little different from the norm...I was completely comfortable the whole pregnancy, just super anxious to meet my LO. I ended up getting a c-section (not planned) and the recovery was tough the first 3-4 days but not even that bad. My LO is a week old today and I feel amazing! Now that I'm not pregnant I realize how comfortable I feel. While I was pregnant I must have brushed everything off so it wouldn't bother me. I love not being pregnant anymore

Relief from heartburn was instant, and glorious! All my aches and pains were also gone, but of course, were replaced by new ones.

Actually one of my symptoms got worse after I delivered

. I had very mild swelling of my feet in the last few weeks of pregnancy but got so much worse the days following delivery. I had huge cankles too. But the backache and hip pain was gone since I was able to sleep on my back again.

I still have my swelling but I had a pretty fantastic pregnancy until the very end with my PUPPS.

It took a couple of days to get back to normal since I had tears on my clitoris... yes it's as painful as it sounds... but other than that I walked from the delivery room to my room after delivery. I was very lucky.
