  • We do one up both up in our house for babies AND adults, just FYI.  If one baby is up then they both are...and so are we.  It just works best that way for us.

We did the same thing. There was no way in hell I was changing and feeding both babies by myself all night long after having done it by myself all day long, too. When one woke up, DH would change him and bring him to me to start feeding. Then, he'd get the other baby and change him and bring him to me. After the babies were done eating, DH would put them back to bed.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
  • Our boys didn't necessarily sleep that well in between feedings the first 4 months so DH and I slept in shifts instead of both getting up with them at the same time. If we'd done the latter, neither of us would've ever gotten any sleep! (It sucked never sleeping together for 4 months--the on-duty parent would sleep on the guest bed in the nursery or in a recliner in the loft so the sleeping parent wouldn't be woken by constant noises over the monitor--but it meant we each got 5-6 uninterrupted hours of sleep per night instead of a few broken hours over the course of the night.)

This was the rule in our house too.  We each grabbed a baby.  One adult changed diapers, the other made bottles, we both fed and we both put them back to sleep.

U/S#1 showed 2 heartbeats! U/S#2 showed Baby A's heartbeat was 157 and Baby B 's heartbeat was 183! U/S#4 showed Baby A is a Boy (heartbeat 161) and Baby B is a Girl (heartbeat 159)!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers
