Yes, yes, yes... My wee Henry is here.
1 week ago today my cervix was closed up tight but the early morning hours on Thursday saw a lightening fast labor - 4 hours.
DS1 was sleeping when we left for the hospital and got to come visit by lunchtime. He's responded really well to the new baby and we're all really happy and healthy, though DS1's happiness is probably greatly augmented by the fact that MIL is visiting from the UK and lavishing him with tooooonnnns of attention.
Thanks so much for the shout out and the happy thoughts! I'll PIP when I get a chance(my laptop is still fairly new and I still(embarassingly) need DH to upload pics from my phone and camera.
Re: You guys were next to know, I swear!
Middle name is Ian, Henry Ian. DH picked it out. I wasn't copying, honest
He was 6lbs14oz and 19.5 inches; 8/9 Apgar(the cord was around his neck, which slowed him down in the beginning); perfect everything ever since. I just went to the BFing clinic to have him weighed and check my supply and he's almost back to his birth weight, my supply is rockin' and he's nursing like a champ. We just need to get rid of the last of the jaundice.

Yay Stever! Congrats to you and your family!!
I am in LOVE with the name you choose. Henry is the American version of my grandfather's name I would love to use it but my DH is not sold. (I don't know why we even come up with boy names I'm going to end up with 5 girls anyway, LOL!)
So glad for a speedy delivery! My second came quickly too and it was so much better than the 16 hours waiting for DD#1.
Can't wait to see pictures!

Congratulations on the birth of your little son! May he live a long, happy, healthy peaceful life!
Love the name too! Can't wait to see pics! :-)
Awwww, congrats, Stever! And yay for everybody is happy!
Well, we are waiting for your DH to do his job
I wouldn't have cared if you HAD copied! I absolutely love Ian. DD hated it, however. So, the over PG >35 has three Henry's in 2 mos, lol.
Glad the BFing is going well. Here's hopin you have a speedy recovery. I recommend Mama Bottom Balm once the stitches start healing. They helps with my skids.

Congrats! Sounds like a dream delivery. Can't wait to see pix.
And love the name Henry. Love it so much I married one!
And yeah, I loved that DS1 was welcome at the hospital. I'd never spent the night away from him so was in a bit of a panic, but we got to see him a few hours after I delivered
Good luck with TTC#2! And don't be a stranger!
