Baby #2 is coming any week now and I am trying to make sure I have everything I need at home. Am I missing anything?
- My breast friend/boppy is out and washed
- Nipple cream, breast pads
- Need to buy replacement parts for pumping (boo!) to start a supply for when I go back to work: tubing, valves & membranes (I dont need new flanges, right?). I still have all of my storage bottles, etc.
- Sterilize bottles & buy replacement level 1 nipples for when we introduce bottle.
Is there anything else? It seems like its been so long since I've done this!
ETA: Whats your favorite nipple cream? I had MAJOR issues when DD was born and was in severe pain for 5 weeks. I preferred the Medela Tender care Lanolin to the Lansinoh because it was softer and gentler, but at the time I didn't have the time to look into other brands because I was just.so.very.overwhelmed.
Re: Breastfeeding mamas... remind me what I need to buy?
Burp cloths, my son still spits up multiple times a day at 6 months... We just use flannel recieving blankets (not good for much else anyway).
I only ever used Lansinoh, and I have two opened but pretty much full tubes of it! Trying to think of other uses for lanolin, perhaps this is a reason to convince DH we should buy some wool diaper covers?
