I have a 2011 Sonata and recently bought a True Fit by The First Years on sale because the reviews were so great. Well, about ten installation attempts later and myself and 3 other parents can't get a snug fit. The one time we did (using 3 rolled up towels and a pool noodle), there was no way to reach the strap at the front to tighten the harness, and there's no way I'm using a seat that needs so many towels just so it doesn't fling around everywhere.
Does anyone have the same vehicle and a convertible car seat that is rear-facing? If so, I'd love to know what seats you have.
Thanks in advance!
Re: Hyundai Sonata - Which car seats fit best?
I have a 2011 Malibu, and was having a tough time with car seat fit.
I just got a Britax Boulevard 70-G3, and it fits SO well. I actually have more room in the back now than I did with the small "compact" convertible seat we had before. (Safety 1st Guide 65 Sport) I am in love with this Britax... I recommend it for anyone, especially if you're having fit issues with other seats.
(and, as pp said, car-seat.org is great resource!)
