Hi all,
I just suffered a M/C, and I'm not really sure what board I belong on anymore...We are definitely wanting to TTC again as soon as we are able, so here I am- May I join you?
As we are starting to figure out where to go from here, my initial question is: how soon after your MC did AF come back? I'm only going on 3 weeks so I'm assumming it might take a while longer....I'm curious what everyone's individual experience is.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Of course you can join us. Welcome. I hope you find comfort and support from this board. I think it has helped a lot of us to share our thoughts and feelings as we can relate to one another.
I had a D & C, not a natural m/c but my AF came back in 4 weeks 5 days. The average time my dr told me was 2-6 weeks after a D & C but it may be a little longer for a m/c. I'm not sure. I've heard 6-8 weeks, but I will have to refer to others for the average time for a natural m/c. I hope you have a good day and your healing process gets better with each passing day. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Welcome to the board, I'm very sorry for your loss.
ncchnat gave you great advice, definitely check out the blog! It really depends on how high you hCG was at the time of your loss and how your body processes that. For me, I got AF within 3-4 weeks after my first 5 losses. I am still waiting on AF after my loss in June, but I am now on BCPs because I was spotting for about a month.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board - I hope you find as much support and comfort here as I have.
As to your question, the concensus on here is that it's different for everyone. Personally, my first AF came almost 4 weeks to the day after my m/c. I was very lucky that it happened so quickly, there are some ladies on here that had to wait quite a long time before AF showed up again.

I had a misoprostol-induced miscarriage, and it took about 5 weeks for AF to come back.
