2+ mommas: what new did you buy for #2?

So I am in full nest mode and trying to figure out what I need to purchase for DS#2. Thankfully we have more than enough clothes, so we are good there. And we still have all the big stuff like PnP, bouncy seat, swing, car seat, stroller, etc. We even got a hand me down double stroller. But it's the little things that I think I need to to start purchasing.

Diapers and wipes of course.....DS1 isnt PT trained yet. Did you/do you plan to just use the same newborn type sensitive wipes for both kiddos, or use the stronger wipes (like we use for DS1) for both, or 2 seperate kinds?

Pump supplies like storage bags, tubing, horns, breast pads, etc.

New bottles? We used Dr Browns before and liked them, but am interested in maybe using something simpler this time around with less parts, or drop-ins. Would you purchase new bottles even if I decided to stick with Dr. Browns? I know they are clean, but I feel like I want something brand spankin new and clean.

Bathing supplies like soap and lotion.

What else am I missing? For some reason this is all I can think of at the moment.. Any good items that helped make life with 2 (or more) kiddos a tad easier?

DS1 is still rf so we will get extra baby mirrors for the headrest. A second sound machine since DS still uses his every night. Pacifiers. I'm not buying different wipes or bath supplies. DS uses Pampers Sensitive wipes and I buy them by the case. He also uses sensitive shampoo so I will use the bottle on this LO. I guess I did buy a thing of lotion for the second nursery, comb, vaseline, rectal thermometer, mylicon drops. I have bought way to many new clothes. And as of today, I ordered the new seat belt thing for the bumbo. Oh, and I'm getting a RnP since I didn't have one before.

Same wipes for both -- I get the Huggies Natural Care from Amazon Mom and figure that should be good enough.

I really debated about this, but mine are a year old and the Dr. Browns are a bit costly so I'm reusing them. I bought new level 1 nipples, and if they don't work for this LO then I'll go buy new bottles.

Still using the giant bottles I got when DS was a newborn, so I guess I'm just going to keep using those. (Hadn't really thought about that yet...)

I plan on making sure my ring sling or k'tan is ready to use since it'll be easier to "chase" DS around wearing LO vs. carrying LO.

That's about all I've got though. I'm interested to see what others say because it FEELS like there should be more.

All I really need are pacifiers, bibs, nipples for the bottles ( i will reuse the dr brown bottles) hat,socks,diapers,ergo carrier and i still need a double stroller. We have the carseat, swing, RnP, and pack and play from DS1. I use sensitive wipes for DS1 and will use the same for #2. We have enough onesies and recieving blankets. I may get new pjs since the ones we put away are kinda dingy.

I got a RnP from Craigslist, an Ergo carrier (only had awful bjorn last time), new pump parts, new nipples for drop ins, new meds (Tylenol, mylicon). We will use the Costco wipes and I've bought a few boxes of diapers too. Will use same soap as for DS.

When DD2 was born we bought a 2nd changing pad, 2nd baby monitor, double stroller, ergo, 2nd crib, new pacifiers, bigger diaper bag.

We bought a double stroller, added to our cloth CD stash, some boy clothes, another monitor, a second car mirror, and some gripe water. It shocks me how little we bought compared to what all we had to buy the first time around.

We got new bottles, but it was due to the bpa epidemic after DS#1. We got some new car seats for #1, but not until after DS#2 was ready for the big rf convertible. Everything else was disposable stuff. I didn't get a new coming home outfit and new crib bedding (total waste of $$$$ bc kid never used crib). Oh....I did buy a moby carrier and it saved me sanity. DS#2 wanted to be held all.the.time so it was the only way I could function.

We needed an infant carseat (DS's expired), clothes that were the right season/sex (though we are reusing a lot of DS's clothes as well), double stroller, mattress protector, newborn size cloth diapers, new pump accessories and bottles (because we only have 1 bottle left over from DS).

We'll likely buy a Tommee Tippee microwave steamer before she starts taking bottles, since we don't have a dishwasher.

So far, we've bought clothes, diapers, sensitive wipes, furniture, curtains, changing pad, mattress, a few new multipurpose pads, mattress cover, breathable bumper, A&D ointment, breastmilk storage bags, bassinet (we borrowed one last time) and that's probably about it!

We still need a lot - double stroller, video monitor, humidifier, lighting fixture, rug, I just remembered I need nipple cream, sheets & a sound machine.

eta- I plan on just boiling all my pump stuff, bottles & pacis, etc.

2nd headrest mirror for car [DD still RFing]

pump parts [at least the tubing]

New Breastflow nipples

double jogging stroller

sleep nursing bra - I better get on this one fast!

Also, we will be borrowing a Cosleeper and sound machine from my sister

Bought:
a few clothes but got tons of hand me downs...
another sling since I needed a boy colored RS
bassinet and car seat adaptor for BJCS
new adiri bottles
I had a stock of leftover pacis from DD never used

Need:
new boy colored car seat cover
second seat kit for BJCS
toddler boards for BJCS and Bee
new seat for bee there's a crack in ours but it's still usable
replacement pump parts

I think I will get a toddler/kid chair for the kitchen table so DS can sit in the space saver.

In a few months I'll buy a booster for DD when DS outgrows the bucket and needs her convertible.

So far I've purchased a 2nd changing pad and diapers...that's it! DS1 is still in diapers, so I've got tons of wipes (I use Kirkland).

I plan on buying some new bottle nipples and pacifiers. I will also need some pumping supplies (hopefully I have more luck this time around).

I have also been researching double strollers.

I bought an Ergo. I want to get extra sunshades for the car and will need new nipples for bottles (we used drop-ins). I'd also like to get aiden and anais swaddle blankets, which I never had with DS.

I bought clothes, bedding, changing pad covers, curtains/decor for his room, a new bouncer because I hated the one we had, baby wash (we switched to the big kid stuff for DD), diapers, wipes (DD is potty trained but if she wasn't I would just use the same for both), desitin, bath towel, wash cloths (not really needed but I figured he deserved his own so he didn't have to use pink ones .

Still need new bottles (I would just and buy new nipples but apparently the bottles we used last time have been discontinued because I can't find the nipples anywhere).

Still want a new blue cover for the boppy and a bottle drying rack, but they aren't necessary, I just want them.

I had to buy a little more because we are going from a girl to a boy.

Oh and reading others posts makes me realize I still need to get infant tylenol and mylecon.
