too early to start shopping?

My grandmother wants to buy the nursery furniture and she told me to start looking. When i looked i noticed that the prices are rather high i started to feel guilty for her spending $700 and more. Then I found a nursery set that happened to be on sale and would only cost her $300. The question is i am only 10 weeks. Should i have waited to tell her what i found? Is it bad luck? I am nervous thinking about it!
