Let's hear what our little genius babies can do
I can't believe my little peanut is almost crawling. It will be any day now When you ask her where mommy or daddy is she turns around at looks at us. She also likes to share her paci/toys. She'll chew on them and then put them in your mouth LMAO. She loves her chicken and fish bits (no puree thankyouverymuch!)
I'm sure some babies here are close to walking! Let's hear it!
Re: Brag about your baby! :)
My DS likes to grab faces. I use it as an opportunity to teach body parts. He grabs my nose, I say "mommy's nose". Then I boop his nose and say "Baby's Nose". He loves it.
He's also experimenting with sounds. Instead of consonants, he's making various forms of rasberries and gurgling noises. When he's really pissed off, he does say 'mama', but otherwise he's not consistent with consonants.
He's not crawling, but he's mobile. We have hardwood, so he puts his palms flat on the floor, pushes up, and uses his feet to slide forward. Of course the first thing he goes after is the cat. Poor kitty isn't going to know what hit him once he's walking.
OMG, why didn't I think of that? LOL My DD does the same, I'm going to start doing the same.
And yes the noises are awesome. We call her motorboat-Z haha
OH and at Smitty, I've been trying to get DD to clap but she's not there quite yet, that is sooo cute!
DD is crawling. She even tries to crawl up my chest when I am holding her lol.
She repeats some words. Hot, Ohhhhhh, Dada, and I heard Mama one time when she was crying while I made her bottle:) Oh and she is clapping her hands!
Baby 2 EDD 7-18-14
Oh yeah blabbing is so much fun!!!! How exciting!!!!
DD was always a chattebox but now it's extreme!! lol
She mostly does anything with Ds so dadada dedede and variations, then she's doing more of Bs now as well and every so often mamamamaeee. But every time I sit and talk to her and say "can you say MAMA" she looks at me, says DADADADADADADA, then blows rasperries and then she totally cracks up.. that little stinker is teasing me HAHA
Our little guy hs been crawling for a couple of weeks! He pulls himself up on EVERYTHING & moves around things too! What?! where did my little peanut go, I have a toddler already - lol. AND to top it off, he crawled up 8 stairs yesterday.
Needless to say we installed another gate today
Holy $hit!
DD crawls quickly, pulls up on everything, and creeps along furniture. She tries to let go with one hand, too. She's just ridiculous! My son didn't move like this at this age, so I wasn't prepared for it.
My big food brag - she ate 1.5T of a puree today, a new record! Woohoo! It's been torture to feed this child. She's just not interested.
