Bumbo safety recall

Just fyi...bumbo has issued a recall as of today.  bumbocanada.com  You can order the free restrainst strap to add to the seat so it can be used again in the future.

ETA:  Sorry, spelled bumbo wrong in the link.  And yes, they do get recalled frequently because people tend to use them as babysitters and are not watching their infant or they are using them on raised surfaces and not watching their children.  Just wanted to put this out there for everyone in the future though to use it again and have a safety strap on it.

    Let me guess... People are putting LO's on the kitchen tables/ counters unsupervised again? 

    I feel like they recall these seats and bath rings every few months for the same damn reason.

    Yeah..I want to be upset about this...but you just can't put a recall on stupid parenting. :)

    Ruby loved hers and I used it constantly, but I also applied my not so sharp, in a split second critical thinking skills and successfully assessed the situation. Stick out tongue

     Those things aren't meant for counters or tables people!

    I think this is so ridiculous. It is definitely because of parenting fails. I would not hesitate to use mine again with another LO because honestly, DD loved it, and I am not an idiot who thought I should put it on a table and walk away.
