I officially live too far away from everyone and will probably never make any of these get-togethers as I cannot get M on a plane 
I even went as far to try and convince her we could drive to the next gtg planned after the twins arrive. When she mapped Boston (East Coast), San Fran and the Midwest spots it quickly got nixed. It was 18+ hours all the way to 27 hours lol. The only place she said she would drive is Vegas (she loves to gamble and we have friends who live out that way as well as I have family).
We have a local LGBT parenting group but that is not the same.

Where are you? Don't worry, I won't stalk you, I'm just interested
We are in Houston. I absolutely love Denver. I used to drive there in the summer. I would spend a few days in New Mexico hiking and then head to CO for more outdoor fun ending in Denver for a day to two. Then when I was done I would fly home. This was my yearly college summer fun before the fall session started.
On a side note, I haven't had a stalker in forever so it might be fun

Normally this would be the case with my wife too, but she LOVES cruises (I am on the fence, depends on the cruise) and is always looking for an excuse to go on one.

IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E

M is the same way. She is very introverted. We work well as she needs someone to push her out of her shell and I sometimes need to be reigned in lol. We have been a couple of cruises with family and had fun both times so I think I could convince her to go.
I think once the LO's arrive and are a bit older I may be able to convince her to fly to one of the gtg but it will really depend on finances and temperament of the LO's at the time. I would love to go the midwest one but I think my dr would have a coronary as I will be about 24+ weeks.
I say, as we have so many ttc and waiting the arrival of their LO's, we plan something for late 2013 to early 2014 (winter time gets the best deals on cruises).

IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)

i JUST moved to Denver. Last month. I'm absolutely giddy that someone else lives in Denver.
we are in VEGAS well 15 min from the strip and anyone is welcome to stay here we have plenty of room ....
