Boy. We saw the whole shabang yesterday...I am only 18 weeks, so when I went to the doctor I said I want to know what it is, but I want to wait until I am 20 weeks, so I dont jinx myself by asking early. As I looked at the screen I saw a glimpse of something, and I said its a boy isnt it...the dr. smiled and said no it was the babies leg. My immediate response was " That was an awfully short leg! " He laughed and told me he will confirm next time...but we both know what we saw!

yeah im having a boy and thats what they told me at first, to wait a little while. just because the testicles dont descend that early and they want to be sure but hello...what else would it be hehehe

lol...I didnt even think of that..we got the butt shot too while I was their. You know the "U" shaped butt with legs in the air. And it was the whole package.

Congrats on your boy... or unconfirmed boy How often do you have U/S's? Sounds like you're getting one again soon?

I only have my 20 week one and then I don't think I get any other ones.

Yes, its is an unmistakable "leg" I have appt. every 3-4 weeks and I get an ultrasound everytime I go. My dr. likes to do them and he likes to make sure all the mom and dads get step by step pics. throughout the pregnancy! He's wonderful. My next appt. is Dec.23 so we will have a confirmed sex for Christmas! We have it down to 4 names.

Aiden, Brayden, Cody and Owen... Probably Edward as a middle name after my grandfather or David after my father.

I'm only 14 weeks and they told me the day before Thanksgiving it was a boy. I've heard when they say it is a boy, they are rarely wrong. It was hard for me to see what the technician was seeing. But I figure they do that everyday and I've only seen an ultrasound a few times.

well my only concern is that my DH has children from a previous marriage. His first was a confirmed girl....Holly quickly became Stephen III. Then his second they didnt ask but she did come out a girl. So they got their girl in the end, but still when Stephen came out they had all pink clothes, painted the room pink, all pink baby gear etc... anyway thank god he has a wonderful family, they all went to his house while he, wifey and baby were still at the hosp. and repainted and took back every single baby thing and exchanged it for them!
