I am looking for a hotel recommendation. We are thinking of going to Sesame Place and the Philadelphia Zoo in September and would stay probably 2 nights. I would love a hotel with a separate living area so DH and I don't have to go to sleep at 7. Thanks!!
Re: Has anyone done an overnight at sesame place?
We just went three weeks ago, and stayed at the Residence Inn. It was very nice, and we took full advantange of the park shuttle. It was great to be able to save $15 per day on parking, and it seemed to run often. The hotel also had a very nice, hot breakfast with lots of options.
We needed a separate sleeping area too, and our room had a king bedroom with a door that was separate from the rest of the suite. We also had a fireplace (which we didn't use, but was still nice) as well as a full kitchen.
We had a great time at the park, too! DD loved it.
We took lunch the first day, since you can leave the park and come back in (we did a picnic right outside of the park). The second day, we walked next door to Uno's for lunch to save money.
We did splurge on a character dinner though, which was well worth it!
We also got the one day magic queue pass to skip the lines, which was great with a squirmy two year old.
Have fun!
