I know this seems trivial, but I just want to mark it down somewhere.
I'm feeling pretty downhearted right now about my fitness having left me completely as I enter the 9th week of this pregnancy, and I'm trying to do something about it. So I've entered Day 1 of my new plan; I'll be riding my cross bike on the trainer and doing the 100 pushups app.
Day one was 22 minutes (exact length of ridiculously stupid tv show) and my first day of pushups--totaling 25. I'm bummed that my pushups have slipped so badly. I was doing 25-30 at a whack, now I'm down to 6. Oh, well. The only way to get back there is to start where I am.
My weight has climbed up several pounds, but that doesn't really worry me. What worries me is the happy little inch of fat that is now covering my stomach and thighs. I just cannot believe it. But my BMI index was fine when I started this journey and it is fine now, so I'm just going to try to be the healthiest, fittest pregnant lady I can be.
Thanks for reading!

Re: Just worked out . . .
The beginning is very hard! I was training for a half at that point so I had to keep going, but my exercise was seriously lacking in the first tri. That being said, I got back into it during the 2nd tri and am still boot camping now.
Just take it one day at a time and listen to your body. Gaining weight is normal and natural during pregnancy.
Kid #1 - 09/03/12
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
And day 2: 25 min on the bike and 30 air squats. Can't wait for pushups tomorrow.
Thanks, ladies!
