Childbirth or Labor prep DVD?

Has anyone heard recommendations about a childbirth prep dvd that is better than others?

My husband and I want to watch some instead of attending the childprep class (we are going to a baby care class but did not want to go to the birth class if possible) so we are shopping around for ideas.

I also heard that the Happiest Baby on the Block is worth watching too?

    Not sure on the first question but happiest baby on the block is worth watching. You can get in on Netflix.

    Laugh and Learn about the labor and breast feeding is good. It gave you good information in a light format without showing anything gross.

    Happiest Baby on the Block, read the book or get the DVD. Remember it. LIVE BY IT. I swear, I wish I had read that damn book before my kid was 2 months old, it saved my life.  Also this post is helpful, bookmark it: https://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/29470977.aspx

    This with my first and though it was funny but informative. And when I say funny I mean it in a corny kind of way. Lol :)

    Go on YouTube and just search Labor and Delivery, IMO those are by far the closest to the real thing (bc well...it was the real thing for someone!). Some of the videos u rent/buy sugar coat it or make you think its going to be something its not...

    Thanks guys!  I looked up the most reviewed on Amazon last night and guess what, the two you recommended were the top two!  Thanks for the pp who offered to send me the dvds, I already had them shipped!  :) Good to know I chose well!

    babycenter.com has an online childbirth class that has a whole series of videos.  Totally free!
