High Reader - Low Responders

Is it just me, or are people responding less and less to posts? Lots of lurkers. I know that not everyone has the time to do this all day every day, I know I don't!! I just hop on during feedings because the computer is next to DD's highchair.

 

This board seems to be getting slower and slower!

    I think that is just what happens as the babies get busier and busier. I kinda read and respond when I have the chance.

    This board has it's ups and downs, and seems to vary weekly.

    I am super busy at work today and haven't had a chance to respond to anything.

    I pretty much only have time to bump at work...that being said on our busy days...I dont get to get on at all.  Def depends on what is going on.

    I think for me it is because of work and I have a Birthday Party coming up.

    I think that is what it is for a lot of the moms on here.

    For me, DD is sleeping less - one nap on most days, AND staying up later at night - so less time for me on the computer.  Plus, I know summer is a super busy time for lots of people between vacations and family parties.  I'm sure things will pick up in a few weeks!

    I just hope things don't fizzle out I guess! I love having the support of moms at the same stage that I do..I don't really have that here on home base. :)

    everyone above is right, but you have to remember that any time a post is opened it counts as a view.  If I'm on my phone, there's a 90% chance I'll click on the wrong post, back out, and then go into the right post.  Plus, if I answer a post and see that other people have responded I'll go back in and read those.
