I didn't have a fav with DS but I have bought an Old Navy one, will probably get some from the Gap, Target...as for nicer looking nursing clothes I will probably suck it up and pick up a couple things from one of the local boutique maternity stores (I did this with DS and it was nice to have a couple of cute pieces that made me feel better about the extra weight and that where functional). My SIL said she had some nursing clothes I could have and she had a ton of functional nicer pieces so I'm looking forward to seeing those.
If I find a good price I may pick up a couple basic ones but I have no idea what size I will need...my boobs have actually gotten a little bit smaller so I'm not very comfortable making a huge investment right now. The lactation lady talked me out of getting nursing bras the other day since I wasn't feeling very confident in my size!
I personally dislike the target ones as they are not very supportive. I think the Bravado ones are AMAZING and just as supportive as wearing a Bra. But I'm speaking as someone who wears a 38E while nursing so I have a lot to support.

I purchased a batch of 5 target maternity/nursing tanks to just live in with pj bottoms if necessary..make sure to bring one to hospital! They are cotton, and comfy..i bought a size up for support but so it would be comfy
I like the Target brand too. They have some new cuter ones too that aren't just a tank top. Agree with PP to buy a size up they shrink.
I have fairly large BFing boobs. With DS1, I was in a 36DD. The Target ones just didnt cut it for me. Mostly, I had a hard time pulling them down under my boob as much as I needed. It just seemed like the fabric was constantly in the way. Bravado are def worth the extra money in my opinion. I just bought 3 from diapers.com to stock up!

It depends how big your boobs are/get. I had some Target nursing tanks with DS, I had to get XXL to even begin to have coverage on my giant boobs (was a 38F/G while nursing DS) and they provided very little support - I ended up using them as pajama tops since I don't like sleeping in bras.
If you need support, I'd recommend the nursing tanks from Bravado. Much more supportive (sized like bras, with bra hooks to adjust for support) and fit is more flattering - especially if you plan on wearing them out of the house. I'm getting a couple of new ones before this LO is born.

Im tall and have a larger chest- i would recommend the "full bust long tank top" by Glamourmom. I absolutely lived in these for the entire 9 months i breastfeed my DS.

This. Yeah, I'm usually about a small and I got mediums in the Gilligan O'Mally's nursing tanks. They're usually about $20 a pop.
