Luckily, I've never had a broken bone in my body (though lots and lots of cuts and bruises). I was a total tom-boy growing up and it's a wonder that I didn't break anything back then.
Updates or vents?
11 weeks today! The end of first tri is coming closer and closer and I am so excited! Can't wait for my first OB appt next week!
QOTW - I broke my left arm between my wrist and elbow when I was about 14m old. I actually broke it at the hospital when I was there for an eye exam and I fell out of the chair. The docs just assumed I was shaken and scared and sent me home. My mom (who was a nurse) realized I was crawling on my elbow. Took me back to the ER and lo and behold, it was broken. I also tore the cartledge in my right knee in my late 20s and had surgery to fix it. I haven't broken anything else, but I have had 13 surgeries for various things in my 41 yrs.
Update - I go for my 24w appt tomorrow. I think he will send me for my GTT this week. No bleeding since 20w and hopefully it was the last. I am still pretty anxious, though. We have also started converting our spare room into Carter's big boy room. Painting should be done by next week. Oh and after 7 long weeks, DS got his cast off. Thank the Lord!

I haven't ever broken a bone, surprisingly enough, as I have a pretty long history of being a klutz. I did have stitches when I was 2, and apparently the prospect of it hadn't bothered me as I remained active while waiting for the doctor.
Updates or vents?
Had my 6 month check up last week, and the glucose test with it. Finally one of the doctors (there are six at my practice and they rotate during these check ups as each has a different day rotation at the hospital for deliveries) listened when I said I've still be really tired. She said they would check my iron level along with glucose. So far, no call today with results which probably means everything looks good. (And that baby boy is just sucking up ALL my energy.)
We're also working on final preparations for moving DD into the old guest room: her "big girl room". DH has been slacking a bit on the painting progress, which is frustrating since I'm not allowed to touch those paints. (But I am making progress with my acrylics and decorating her new storage bench.)
Yay! Glad things are rolling along better for you- hope that arm is looking good soon

Had my 16 week appt today, HB at 150 bpm and measuring right on schedule! Can't wait for next month's A/S and to find out if my DS will have a baby brother or baby sister!

Knock on wood. I have never had a broken bone. No real serious injury either. Worst was probably when I was mad at my brother and he was standing on the other side of a door. I hit the window and frustration and of course broke the glass. Cut up my arm, have a nice scar. Nothing serious.

I have started to have some numbness in my hand when I wake up. Looking it up it appears this is normal but 16+ weeks of this.I am already annoyed

No broken bones. Knock on wood. My worst childhood injury (that necessitated a trip to the ER happened when I was 8 or 9 years old. My parents had a 1977 Pontiac Bonneville. Those things were behemoths! Anyway, we were on vacation in Florida, and I was sitting in the front seat. I hopped into the car and slammed the huge door closed - right on my open-toed-sandaled foot. They took me to the ER (my first visit), and I was so freaked out that my blood pressure was super high - as an 8 year old. That made it worse because then more and more doctors arrived due to their concern. Finally, my mom, the voice of reason, spoke up and started reading to me, which calmed me down immediately.

Doing well with my GD management. I actually don't mind this diet at all and could see myself sticking with it after the baby is born for weight control. Since going on it, I've only gained 0.5 pounds in 7 weeks. So, the baby is growing appropriately, and I am shrinking, which is nice! Have a growth ultrasound at my 32 week appointment on Thursday - looking forward to seeing the baby again!
QOTW: I have broken a lot of bones but my broken arm two years ago was really funny. DH and I went away for the weekend. I was going to change for dinner and he told me that I did not need to change because I looked really hot. So I did not change out of my flat boots. At the restaurant I went to the bathroon. DH was watching me walk back and I was feeling really sexy. I waved a sexy little wave and winked at him. Then I lost my footing, fell over, and broke my arm trying to catch myself. I was in a cast for 6 weeks.
Updates: None really. The morning sickness remains but I have as many good days as bad days now. I am doing the NT scan next week. I can't wait to see my baby again.
QOTW: Oh gosh, your poor baby! I broke my arm, when I was 4 ... believe it or not, the nursery school teacher fell on me. We were playing that wheel barrel (barrow??) game where one person walks on her hands while the other holds her feet and pushes her along ... anyway, she was a leeeetle too big to be the wheel barrel instead of the farmer. Broke my arm at the elbow, right at the growth plate. It has never been straight since!
Updates/vents: nothing out of the ordinary. I just came from OB and she announced I am a whole half centimetre dilated. Grrrreeaaaaaatttt.... I've been a "fingertip" for the past 2 weeks so I don't think this qualifies as progress. I'm so ready to give birth. I love our son very much and have enjoyed our time together but now it's time for him to come out and be shared with everyone else who's waiting to love him! Looks like nothing doing though.

YES! I got hurt a lot when I was a kid. I have broken my nose and my arm...both pretty young. I have had several concussions as well as lacerations on various parts of my body....think roller skates and a dirt bike (at the same time).

Just had some spotting and mild cramping after the CVS procedure so I took it very easy over the week-end. The boobage has gotten even bigger and DH loves them - so funny! Headaches and itchy skin are my newest symptoms. Still consuming meals the size of an athletes and sleeping A LOT. Starting to feel a little bit more energy which is so awesome.
me (36): Hypothyroid (on Levothroid), low vit. d, borderline/high fsh (day 3: between 7-10) (day 10: 13 during CCCT), AFC: 14
dh (31): awesome (minus one sample with agglutination)
Diagnosis:possible DOR and/or unexplained + elevated NK cells + MTHFR (C677T - one copy)

I have never had the misfortune of a bone break, but coincidentally, my DS also broke his arm last week... same arm as your LO looks like... but not as bad. HE;s got a splint for now tomorrow is his follow up to see if he can get rid of the splint, or if they'll put him in a full cast.

first bad injury was a workers comp injury to my right thumb. I tore the ligament off the bone moving an evidence box. Had to have surgery to get it reattached. Other than that nothing serious...

QOTW: I broke my collar bone when I was four. I fell off of the top of our swing set - it actually had a gang way across the top. I remember thinking the doctor called it my "color" bone.
Updates: I got the results of my Harmony Test in. I am now in the 1:10,000 range on all trisomies tested. Yay! Next appointment is Aug 24th and then I should be scheduled for my a/s.
