I haven't felt the baby move since last night.. I called my OB and he said go straight to L&D.. I'm sure she is fine but I'm so super worried.. I had a NST done yesterday and everything was perfect and the baby moved all day long!! And she passed with flying colors! My last appointment with my OB he said if the baby isn't moving or my amniotic fluid gets low again then he will just induce labor (ive had a problem with my fluid going up and down since 30 weeks)
Re: Words of encouragement please
I am sure everything is OK. The NST yesterday ay is a great indicator that all is well today. But you should definitely go in like your OB said.
Fetal Movement
Induction of Labor
This happens to me/us all the time. This baby moves so much we call her "Boogie," but this weekend, my SIL was in town, draggin' me all over San Francisco and I didn't feel the baby kick all day.
Chances are she may have done it, softly, when I was up and wouldn't notice or else she may have just been worn out. The very next day, though, she was right back at it. This was not the first time I was on the verge of panic, though, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Pregnancy will make you a nervous wreck.
Kick counts are there to keep us mindful of a baby's movement, but they aren't little robots. Their sleep cycles can change, they can be kept awake and soothed by noise or rocked to sleep by us being busy. There are a lot of variables and a change or a lull doesn't always mean disaster.
Go to the hospital, because you don't want to monkey around with this in case it's something more serious, but be encouraged that the rest of us have or will go through this at some point, too.
