Hi, I'm mostly a lurker but I had to ask for help with the nausea. I'm about 7.5 weeks along (no ticker yet) and I'm relieved to be having pg symptoms since my last pregnancy never felt right. But, man, I spend all day sick to my stomach. It's much worse than when I was pregnant with DD and DS. I am lucky that I am not throwing up...but I have this awful taste in my mouth all day and the nausea only seems to build throughout the day. So by dinnertime, when I am chasing toddlers around and cooking, I feel terrible. By 5:30 at night, I just want to lay down on the cold tile of the bathroom floor and stay there. I've tried sour candies, gum, lots of cold water, greasy foods (always a pregnancy go to for me) and meds like GasX and tums. nothing seems to help much. Do any of you guys have some suggestions?
Thanks

I know exactly how you feel. Some things that I tried were ginger tea, water with fresh lemons squeezed in it, ginger ale, crackers, jolly ranchers, sea bands, unisom, acupuncture and eating small meals frequently. I would say the most helpful are making sure to snack frequently, stay hydrated, get fresh air by taking a walk outside. Good luck to you getting through this...its awful. I'm almost 11 weeks and still struggling with nausea and vomiting. I know it does get better from what everyone says.

Sorry you are going through this too. When I got morning sickness I was relieved but now at 12 weeks I have to admit enough is enough
Seabands are great. I wear them to bed because for me it's worse in the morning. I also have some crackers by my bed (my husband loves the crumbs jk) which do help so I can put something in my stomach before I get up.
I haven't done Unisom and b6 but that's supposed to be great. Like others have said ginger ale also helps as does hot water with lemon for me.
I find that if I don't eat something every two hours it's worse so I eat lots of small meals.
Hang in there and hopefully it will get better soon.
